That's the truck I wanted when I ordered my F150. Just couldn't justify a Super Duty when 98% of the time it was just me commuting 110 miles for work each day. The F150 w/ EcoBoost towed our 27' RV just fine. I was skirting the payload limit of 1,777 lbs though since I usually loaded up the bed with firewood when we headed out camping.

Now that I'm not camping anymore, I've drastically downsized my vehicle, lol
I didn’t know you got rid of the 150. I always loved your 6.5’ bed crew cab. The only useable 150 IMO haha

I barely have you beat with a 112 mile commute.

Me too. The 1st truck I factory ordered to get all the stuff I wanted and none of the stuff I didn't. Tried to make it the ideal tow pig.

Optioned it with the EcoBoost, Max tow pkg, tow mirrors, on board scales, 360 cameras.

Change in living arrangements forced the sale. Wanted something smaller, better on gas and would fit in the underground parking at my condo.

I get one stall so, had to fit my vehicle and motorcycle in one spot.

Gotta get the trailer up for sale. It's just sitting in the yard at my work not being used.

And better on gas it is. Double the fuel mileage I was getting in my truck:

This was on a 12 hour road trip the day after i bought it. Flat roads @ 65 mph works out 50 mpg!

Daily use mixed in town / highway I'm averaging 7.3L / 100 kms or 39 mpg.

Anyway, I'll stop clogging up the fullsize thread with pics of a vehicle that's clearly not a fullsize, lol

I don’t blame you at all! We got back from Washington last month, and had rented a RAV4. It sure made sense to me, but the wife didn’t want it. If I could convince her that would be awesome. We’d still have my guzzler for the big trips though.

4 months into long term/full time overlanding/touring/camping, or whatever one chooses to call what we’ve been doing for a very long time. The truck is a ‘24 F-350 XL with 4XF package along with dual alternators and dual batteries. Stock included the 6.8 gasser and a 48 gallon fuel tank. With the Grandby on our back we are averaging 13mpg, which gives us an easy 550 miles of range. When compared to our ‘96 LX450/80 series this ride is luxurious.IMG_0771.jpegIMG_0856.jpegp

Briefly jumping onto the RAV4 bandwagon, we love our '21 hybrid RAV4 (100k miles already). I also picked up a Tesla MY recently, which will save $20k in gas if I keep it for 120k miles, not to mention saving wear and tear on the truck.
