I see the one brass fitting just to the side of the spring. You may want to protect it somehow so it doesn't get knocked off. If it were mine, I'd find some way to knock it off on the way out of the drive.

Like BoarderMX, I decided to mount mine under the frame. I don't have his fabrication skills but I'll play anyway. I mounted an 18gal ABS Valterra tank to a piece of birch plywood, using straps from the hardware store. Then bolted the plywood between the springs: image.jpg
Then installed my Craigslist find, a 2.8 gpm pump just forward of the tank. The hose is good for input and output.

With an inline screen and quick connections, I can fill it with a standard spigot or from a clean natural water source. It works great for cleaning, showering, etc.

I think I need a bigger truck!
I took mine out this weekend, and before I did I filled the tank to the top. Was going to fill the 2 Scepter cans too, but didn't bother this time. Tongue weight is the same, can still lift it with one hand (heavy though) and rode great. Would have been nice to mount it under, just too tight. Tank is working out great!

I made a change to the way water gets to the my sink...Being one who appreciates idiotproof, I came up with a gravity fed water supply system...See below...

(above) What we have here is 4" PVC water pipe, epoxied at the seams and mounted using a combo of SS hose clamps (with washers and bolts through the side wall) and HD Zip-Ties looped through the factory cut outs on the wall...The red plug at the top is where it fills...I use a one gallon jug to fill it...I could use a potable water hose, but the jug works fine...The red plug does make it air tigt so I drilled a tiny hole in the cap to allow venting, with no sloshing overflow...

(above) The capacity of 4" pipe is about .6 gallons per lineal foot...I have about ten feet of pipe there and with the elbows and tees, gives me about seven or eight gallons of water...

(above) The faucet is a simple PVC ball valve...The water flow is a hard smooth 3/8" diameter stream...Not wimpy...
You could make it out of ABS (which is black) mount it outside and at the end of the day you have a hot water for a shower or cleaning up after dinner.
