Hi Printer
Welcome aboard. Well, you are kinda vague about just what kind of Chevy truck you have. There are some differences esp. in the rear suspension. However, if, for example you have a Tahoe or Suburban with the rear coil springs you can do an install like mine.

I gained about 3 inches of lift using new Z71 coils, 2 inch coil spacers, and F150 keys, along with the 33 inch tire. So far, it has served me very well.
But, I would be loathe to use a coil spacer beyond 2 inches without a kit that includes a longer crossbar. I had a hard enough time putting my axle back together with the 2 inch, could not imagine the 3 inch.
Also, you can use F150 pickup torsion keys on the 2000 + up Chevy IFS trucks and save yourself lots of money over buying aftermarket torsion keys.
Browse around some Chevy truck forums and I am sure you will find lots of info on leveling your rig, regardless of year and body style.
