I doubt my electrical needs would ever get this elaborate but I'm still planning on doing a dual battery/solar set up eventually. While researching the battery options I came across Deep Cycle Systems out of Australia. They have some impressive videos on youtube of using their LiFePO4 batteries as lead acid replacements. I contacted them about their 2x 75ah battery kit and with the USD -> AUD exchange rate they said they could ship it to the US for $1500 USD which is roughly the price I'm finding for most LiFePO4 batteries stateside.
The batteries are roughly group 34 size, however, I can only figure out how to get one of the batteries under the hood of my LR3 due to the height (205mm for current production, 210mm in specs).
