think may be 5.13 gears would have been better?

my LJ (35s w/5.13 in OD) can tow my 1800 tent trailer up the hills around NW pretty well, without getting those rpms into much trouble.

I think an airstream is built to last which falls in that 1% category. If I spend $15k+ on a trailer, I expect it to last more than 10 years. Just me. Those livin lite trailer START at the $10k area I believe...

That's par for the course with RV's- trailers at that price point are sold on the monthly payment, not the price tag.

A 15k RV will last more than 10 years, it will just look rough and take lots of maintenance and repairs. There are plenty of 20 and 30 year old white boxes out there.

I rented it from the Air Force Base that I work on.

Oh, I'm not reenlisted just to rent a trailer. :)

Other than the tow vehicle issue, what did you think? Frank seems unimpressed, but I didn't think there was enough complexity to these to screw them up.

MSRP on RV's is a joke- I "accidentally" bought our brand spanking new $22k travel trailer by offering $16k :Wow1:.

I bet the street price is closer to $7k. There's not much to them.
