--I'm a bit hesitant to put your AT sticker in my X window, so I think I'll just put it on the coupler !!

--Thanx everso, it looks like a real fine piece of gear--

You could always put the AT sticker on upside down. That way it would look like some crazy Greek letters. Could be the start of an off-road fraternity.

Looks good.

It's hard to tell from the photo of the vehicle side is exactly what is going on, but it looks like a safety chain is hanging down from the coupler. It may not be the case but it looks like that.

Make sure that any safety chains are attached securely to the vehicle not to the coupler or draw bar.

Also make sure the safety chains are crossed under the tongue of the trailer so that if the coupler did break loose the tongue would be supported on the chains.

--:campfire: Yea Martyn, I just hung that chain to see if it would fit there, I'm not sure that the safety chains are required , if NOT usinf a std BALL hitch--

--Criss/crossing them underneath is interesting, because I've NEVER seen a trailer pulled that way !!

I always criss cross my saftey chains underneath so the tounge would drop into them if the hitch ever failed. It keeps the tounge from plowing into the road surface. :D

--Tucson, thats the most logical thing I've heard today and I even talked to my wife!!

--Henceforth and forevermore, thats the way I'll tow--Thanx

I can't really tell from your picture but be sure to check how steep an angle (think dip) you can traverse without the tongue of the trailer hitting on your spare tire. Otherwise you may need to lengthen your truck side to allow more clearance when the tow rig is climbing and the trailer is still on the down slope of "V" type terrain. It's something that happened to me...

:campfire: Good idea Spressomon and I had figured, if I expected angles like that, I would deflate my spare, or me, whichever came first !!!
