Locking Air Chuck Recommendations

I just take the 3 seconds to screw mine on… but I’m using the $120 napa compressor that coincidentally is the same model morrflate sells for morrmoney.

Used to use the ARB rapid deflator, but I got a set of Staun’s and never looked back.

If you just use the threads the way they’re intended you avoid damage.

I have used a few different versions of twist on tire inflation air chucks and highly recommend this design over any of the other clamp on styles i have used.

Seconded! I used those clip-lock chucks for years, and they were frustrating. Screw-on is much less stress.

I also improved the ergonomics / finger-feel of the above screw-on chucks by wrapping them several times with some self-fusing 3M Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape. The larger diameter and rubber grip feels nice in my fingers.

This is my newer favorite.....


It has a nice positive push-on action and only needs the button to release. Flow is as good as anything I have tried. Overall, what I like the most is the small compact size that is barely larger than the npt fitting.
