Long road to nowhere.

Unfortunately nearly all of the sandhill region of Nebraska is privately owned. There are some national wildlife refuges up near Valentine, NE and 2 national forest tracts but for the most part it's no trespassing. At the western edge of the state there is Fort Robinson State Park which has a pretty large designated wilderness area. The terrain is a little different but it is beautiful as well.

That natural gas line is a rough trail but it does go on forever and accesses parts of the 3 corners most people will never experience, most importantly it is rarely traveled and generally people free.

Haven't made it to devils corral, yet.
Been to the stateline and 3 corners numerous times and made the trip to dickshooter because the ex wanted to see it, was kinda worried about that.... but I really love the 3 corners area and all that open land that most will never go to.
