This road, heading east out of Boise City OK, always reminds me of Steve Earle's song Nowhere Road.

Straighter than a preacher
Longer than a memory
And it goes, forever onward
Been a good teacher
For a lot of country boys like me. . ."
This particular morning it was miles and miles of ice. Get up to speed, stay there and don't touch the brakes.
Spent the night before winding my way down from Colorado on snowy backroads during a storm with two lady truckers who depended on my nav skills over the radio. Was quite the night.
