Long road to nowhere.

Another snap of SW Wyoming this past October, taking a “shortcut” in the middle of nowhere, headed east out of Evanston. We got hit by the first snow of the season here. The spectacular green tint of the soils along this route was wildly different than anything we’d seen anywhere before.

built a new bike rack and needed a shake down run. found this gem of a road. new bike and rack held fast. guess i can still fabricate in my aging state.

Those darker stripes are where trillions of Mormon crickets were crossing the highway and were run over. The highway actually becomes very slick...and the stench is awful.
