Went and played a little bit at a local off road park. Mostly played around in the training/testing area where they stage some pretty rough stuff to get over. The Sluice and rutted hills were cake to get over. Without the lift, I likely would have dragged on the sliders and underbelly a bit more.

The shocks also feel great out on the trail. Much improved over the standard Bilsteins.

Heres a quick video I put together. My girlfriend was recording with her iPhone while holding onto my 75lb pitlab on the leash, so I apologize for the unstable video. I also did all the editing and stitching together on iMovie on my iPhone.

Yeah, and I can't wait to get my new 3' Firestick, especially after mocking yours up with mine.. My antenna is just too damned tall!

Just installed a 2M ham setup for longer distance comms than CB will allow.

Location. I decided to go with a simple but rugged Kenwood single band..

I used an NMO base mag mount, so I can drill a hole later and go true NMO, but I'm not totally committed now. Wanted it to be inconspicuous so I put it dead center in the roof but partially under the fairing. I also lost zero storage up here too!

I wanted to hide the unit in one of the glove boxes, but that didn't work, so this was my second choice and I actually think it's the best, with the exception of under a single din radio in the stock double din radio location.

Yeah. I was listening to repeaters in big bear clear as day all day! Even caught an Argentinian station for a while.

In Idaho, a long way from home (Los Angeles) and I had to pull my front drive shaft.. It will stay off for the remainder of the trip at this point. We are coming home tomorrow..

The Vibrations at speed were horrendous.. Im surprised I lived with it this long before pulling it out and fixing it. New U-Joints are in order for this shaft.

One of the caps is cracked open and completely seized. The joint will pivot one way, but not another. Im just lucky it didn't explode on my way up here in the middle of the night, or one of the crazy *** thunder storms we drove through, or both.

Running silky smooth on the highway now though!

On a totally nerd status side note, what you do with your life proof (STUPID ADAPTER TO LISTEN TO MUSIC) idea is genius, never thought about that.
