Look for the next sign

I go from day to do just like everyone else, I wake up have coffee, eat breakfast (occasionally), work, lunch, work, dinner. I try to help people when I see them in need. I don't give every homeless person I see money, but sometimes I just get this feeling like I know I need to do this. I'm more aware now than ever. One morning around 6am I pulled into Dunkin Donuts to get coffee for myself and my employees, I saw a man holding a sign on the corner. I couldn't read the sign but I knew. It certainly was cold out in the 30's. Here in FL thats pretty cool. So I ordered an additional large coffee. Then I stopped and gave it to him. I drove on. Another day a man approached the car, usually I get a good grip on my pistol, this time I grabbed a $5 and as he asked for change I gave it to him. I don't do that usually because I don't know I don't get that feeling. Today I came home to my apartment and it was pouring down rain. As I ascended the stairs I noticed a man with a package of books, when I reached my apartment I noticed a local phone book. 2 and 2 makes 4 and thats what he was delivering (phone books). So I went inside and that feeling came over me and I began to look for a towel, when I couldnt find a towel I could part with I remebered I had a Mountain Hardwear rain jacket I didnt use much. I grabbed it and ran out into the down pour in search of this man. I looked on the 1st floor nothing, shyt I though how far could he have gone? I looked across to the next building over and spotted him, I ran through the puddles and what seemed like a waterfall. I met him and he moved over thinking I lived in the apartment he was in front of, I said no I saw you and this is for you and handed him the jacket he smiled and said thank you. I ran home and finished unpacking the groceries. As I sat here in my chair on my pc I looked out the window. Tha rain had stopped and my windows were cracked 4" and my sunroof was cracked too! Fawking idiot I thought I grabbed a towel and went downstairs, I unlocked the truck and upon inspection the interior doors had about 5 drops of rain the mats were wet (husky mats) but nothing either side or under the sun roof. Wow I thought thats weird almost like a jacket had been placed over my car. I was shocked and came upstairs and told my wife, she just smiled and said your deed paid off. Now I know this because I haven't done near as many good deeds as have been done to me and I'm extremely fortunate. I count my blessings and know I'm blessed.

Thank You

Aaron

Nice! Even the smallest gesture of kindness towards our fellow human beings can create a ripple that is far reaching.
