Toughbook/ Garmin question

I picked up a Panasonic CF-M34 Toughbook for $25. It included the docking station, floppy and CD drives, and power cord. It is a little slow and dated, but it is in great condition. The size is perfect for mounting (check out the comparison pic), and it is a touch screen. This should be a perfect computer for GPS. I bought it from one of the tech guys at work. We use Toughbooks at work, and surplus the older ones. He picked it up at an auction and then bought a full size CF-27. He determined that he really didn't have a need for the CF-34 and sold it to me. :wings: Question: I already own a Garmin etrex Legend and have MapSource Topo CD's. Can I just hook the Legend up and use the computer with the software while out-and-about? Thanks!

Nice buy!

My dad actually works for Panasonic and has a few of these laying around that I was going to "borrow" from him and mount in my truck as well. To run map software, you don't need too much horse power and the touch screen is a nice bonus.
