Looking at a 2004 GX470...

Hello all. Tonight I'm hoping to join the gx470 crew.
Just wanting to get any last minute advice or things to look for. Don't want my excitement to cloud reality.
It's an 04 with 102k miles. 1 owner that seems like a stand up person. Clean car fax.
Any sage advice and things to look out for?

They are great trucks! Kinda like a 4runner on steroids, look out for the normal stuff- rust, leaks, cv boots etc. Also test out the rear air suspension to see if its still working, they eventually fail but most people remove the system when installing a lift, no big deal either way. I prefer GX's without the nav as its kinda slow and it controls the heat/ac so it can never be swapped out with a newer headunit. Just something to consider.

Get over and check out mud's 120 section as its mostly GX owners!

Did you get your GX? That's good info about the navigation. I'm looking at a 07 470. Let me know if you are happy with it.

Check the center diff actuator for leaks as well as the headers. Spendy fixes
