We are keeping the Jeep for Her, but as a family we just don't fit well for longer trips, so we are looking for more space. I am looking for 98-99 Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX470. this is the year with the rear locker (though weaker front diff). Strongly prefer White exterior, not too concerned about interior color, though non-wood dash is a plus for me personally. Must have lockers (will consider ARB's in lieu of factory e-lockers).
Exterior cosmetic damage okay. We will be fitting aftermarket bumpers and so forth anyway. Mileage not a major concern, as long as it's been maintained well. This will become my daily driver, and I average about 18,000-20,000 a year in mileage, so mechanical soundness is very important.
I have a realistic budget, scalable based on the vehicle.
I am willing to travel, but need to keep it in the western side of the US, about 48 hours drive from Southern California (about as far as Colorado for practical reasons).
If yours likes this, I probably can't afford it, but I will make an effort!
I would consider trading my 2002 Volvo XC70 if interested. It's in excellent shape, with 106,000 miles currently, good tires, new brakes, etc... Garaged it's entire life, literally owned by a little old school teacher until last year when I bought it as second owner.
