Looking for a fast setup tent with enclosed "outdoor" area

Did you pay new for it? That's a great price. I bought the Instant 4 Person + Rainfly. Properly staked, it's a great tent, but tight for 4 even though the kids are 5 and 3. I could imagine wanting to go 8 person within a couple years.
Did get it new on Amazon. It was one of my first purchases ever with Amazon and got some ridiculous discount and another $40 for getting their credit card which sits in my desk drawer never to be used again. And yes properly staked is a great tent.

Just to update this. Order the 6 person when Costco had the sale for $100. Much roomier for the 4 of us without going double size with the 8 person tent. Although the bag itself is significantly larger, it packs on the roof.

I saw the OzTent mentioned a few posts back. That looks like a very high quality tent. I'm attracted to the quick setup, heavy duty poly-cotton material, and the versatility due to the range of addons. But at $799 the price is quite steep.

I found a similar tent the "26 Second Tent" sold by compact camping concepts LLC on top-tent.com and it looks like the tent is made by Tepui. the Tepui 26 Second Tent is only $289 and most of the specs sounds similar including the material Poly-Cotton blend.

Has anyone had any experience with this tent or heard anything about it? I'm wondering what the differences are between the Tepui and the OzTent? Specifically in terms of build quality, durability, and features.

The Napier Sportz SUV tents have a model with an additional room. It can be freestanding or attach to your SUV. The model we had doesn't have the same setup system as the newer models. Ours had the old corded poles, slide through the tent sleeve system. Their biggest model now has a hub system that the poles go into. One of the Toyota magazines did a review of it and commented how easy it was for one person to set up. I believe it's the 84000 series with this setup.

If you don't want to stake the tent down, put your action packers/ heavy gear in the corners. We set up our bed in the vehicle and used the tent area as a living room

I have the 82000 and love it. It's the same tent with just an awning off the front instead of the additional room. I use mine attached to my camp trailer and set it up by myself in about ten minutes.

I came across this tent as well and was intrigued. I'm looking for a good tent to throw on the roof rack and pack along when I don't take my trailer, the oz tent would be perfect if it wasn't so expensive. I would probably buy one of these tents if they are decent quality. Does anyone have experience with them??
