Looking for a good case for my DSLR

I found a leather case/holder online and the company is located in Estes Park which is only 45 min from my house. I drove up there yesterday and looked at them and I like the look but don't know how practical it is for $350.

Here are 3 pics I took yesterday...

I would use it to keep my camera protected in the truck and to use when on hikes, stalks etc...

What recommendations do you guys have for a case? I have a Nikon 5100 dslr and will have it with me on all my hunts.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

I highly recommend Kinesis gear. Their cases are very well made, rugged, and waterproof. Really ideal for outdoor use. I like the look of leather, but for my outdoor use I prefer something synthetic.

Another unique feature is that their products are very modular. For example, if you need a lens pouch, you can attach one to a basic holster bag, so you can configure the case to your needs to some extent.

I've had one of their small holster cases (pic below) for 4-5 years, and it's really holding up well.

My case from Skytop showed up today and I could not be more happy at this point. My truck is packed and I am heading south to Sonora Mexico at 4am to hunt for two weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing how useful this case is. It looks damn good, but I'm a sucker for leather products and it provides a semi rigid procective barrier.

I'll be posting pictures when I get back
