another option might be to use a 2" hitch bar that has a 2nd receiver located above the 1st. sorry, no pic

That's what I was thinking. You can get them with up to a foot drop so you could flip one over and get a foot of additional height.

Thank you, I had been looking at it but bought it as recommended. For $62 sent, I will take a look at it (some videos say it is quite poorly made) and evaluate it. If I feel the need to raise it further, I will look at other hitch solutions.
