Im in Washington and getting ready to sell the Axle, wheels and tires off my trailer.
Tires are like brand new and the Axle and hubs are very clean. Believe its a M101A1 axle

I actually already have the M101A1 version. I'm looking to go to the M101A2 since it seems a little easier/cheaper to maintain.

Bearings and other internal bits were changed between the M101a1 and a2 series.

Are you looking to upgrade to the surge brake assembly as well, or just everything under the springs?

I have an M116a2e1 sitting in the storage area I am going to be building a teardrop off of. I need to shed some weight off the thing for the project, and I am 99% sure I will be pulling the surge brake assembly off completely and changing out to electric brakes.

Might be willing to make a deal.

I'm learning here... Can you explain?

Kacey,

It's mainly concerning the rims and tires. The split rim tires are hard to come by here in central Texas and seem to be expensive ($287 on summit racing). I like the M101A2 due to the 8 lug bolt pattern and normal tires. I'd be able to go with better looking truck rims instead of standard military issue (not that there's anything wrong with military look, just not what I'm going for.

might be a bit late to the party, and I'm hardly ever on here, but I have a 101a2 that I will be ditching the axle, surge brake and rims/tires on. Probably won't be doing it for a few months.

I'm in Denver but would be in Dallas this summer.
