looking for a new camera

Budget is tight, its only 260 right now. But we will be looking at a $500 camera in february. Im lookign for something that I can use for my kids sports and outdoor camping photography. Im new so id like somethign thats easy to work and gives the best results. Suggestions? Thanks in adavance

I would recommend just waiting until February and add the $240 to the $500 at that time. Gives you a lot more money to work with to get a camera setup that will work for everything you want it to do.

For that price you can pick up a used dslr with a couple used lenses.

Panasonic Lumix. You can find one to fit any budget, and they all take amazing photos!
