Anyone considering a Klymit Static V just spring for the insulated lite version upfront. Since replacing my non-insulated one I've yet to encounter a reason to go back. More than worth the small packed size penalty, so we're talking more like a PBR tall boy. It's never been too warm (but I guess consider I live in Colorado) that venting hasn't kept me comfortable. I couldn't be more happy with my insulated Static V and quilt for anything from 20F+.

I bought a therm-a-rest mondoking. Should be here soon. I hope it is very comfortable. Since I’m a side sleeper, my hips normally dig in HARD at night. Was not a problem in my youth but now over 40 it’s a big deal. I would rather be hungry the next day than be tsore and tired from bad sleep.

I have both the 25 and 30" widths of the mondoking and am a side-sleeper and can attest you will be happy camper.

Got it yesterday and longed around in for a few hours. Not too bad. Will take a little fiddling to get a good feeling amount of air. Squishy vs firm is the experiment now!

REI Camp Bed 3.5 is very good value, especially when compared to MegaMat and Thermarest.

MegaMat seems to always be first rated in online reviews. Thermarest is also very good (from reviews) however, I've not used one.
