No rush whatsoever. If it works out, great. I have a couple uncles that live close to there that could check it out but someone familiar with cruisers would be a big plus. If it turns into a pain for you, don't bother. Greatly Appreciate your willingness to help out.

We have an HDJ81 and its has been great. With three kids I added the third row so they have more space for long trips. Everyone has their own opinions but I don't think you could go wrong with a 80. As for room, short trips were fine for the long trips I have the trailer.

fyi on the diesel 80 in surrey- it has a rebuilt status and the guy doesnt know why.

Ha I talked to another guy from on the coast and his advice was it was one to stay away from . Might be heading another direction entirely as I acquired an old beast in the fork of a 66 town wagon from my dad

If you don't drop that body on a 12 valve Cummins chassis you are crazy! What an awesome rig!

It would almost have to be a 4bt. 6 is extremely tight, not impossible but some serious massaging would be needed.
