Looking for re-arched springs

Time to throw away the lift blocks under my rear leaf springs, and go for custom arched leaf springs.

I weighed the truck today, 8,420lbs, then I pulled forward to where the edge of the scale was just where the cab meets the bed, and it weighed 4,240lbs.

This was with 9 gallons of fuel in the tank (1/4 tank), me in the truck, no water in the camper, and a 240lb dirtbike on a bike carrier that's attached to the receiver hitch. Fairly balanced I thought.

Anyway I figured knowing how much the rear weighed would help me when it comes to finding the right spring pack. This rig is for camping/trips only, so camper and bike should be factored into selecting the right springs I believe, as they're permanent for the most part.

Any suggestions on vendors for the leaf packs? I need a decent compromise between quality, and not breaking the bank.

I will second both alcans and deaver and throw in national spring. HOWEVER your wording is wrong. You do not want RE-arched springs. Re-arched springs are where they take your old stock springs and basically bend them into a taller spring. I had some springs re-arched once and it was the biggest waste of money I have ever done. They rode harsh for a few months then started to get smoother but they also started loosing their arch and by the end of 12 months where back to stock hight.

Deaver, alcan and national spring will build you custom springs made to the hight and weight capasity you want/need.

I had my custom spring pack made by National Spring in El Cajon and got rid of the blocks as well. It rides SOOOOO much nicer and handles the weight of the FWC, which is always on.

Sexy!
