Take a look for OZ tent. Theya re really well made go up in 30 seconds and have optional screen rooms and side panels for the front awning built in. I think you can get them from urban landcruisers in ATL.

If you are looking for a large, canvas tent, I suggest a classic canvas wall tent. There are a number of makers on Idaho and Montana that will whip one p for you. A large tent (cooking, eating, sleeping) should be 10' X 12' minimum.

I have used canvas wall tents with wood burning stoves in hunting camps from Oregon to central BC, down to about 20 below zero and they are very comfortable if set up and equipped correctly.

Made in a factory right here in Salt Lake city, Utah. I grew up camping in the Family Camper 6 man tent.
Mine is 7x10, the Campsite:

I have this one from LL BEAN. IT is very nice, Packs pretty small. There is plenty of room to stand up, they make an even bigger one that sleeps 6. the Screen porch is just as big as the main tent. plenty o room for gear storage. The price isn't horrible either (If you put it next to a North face Backpacking tent)

Until yesterday I had a LL Bean King Pine Dome #6, which is the larger model. I've had it for just over a year and its seen a couple of weeks use. Last week it was used continuously with about two nights at each camping spot.

Overall the tent is large and well made and there's plenty of space for escaping the bugs and the weather. Sometimes rain comes in the front door of the screen house because there's no full door on that part of the rain fly but only the first six inches or so get damp.

The poles are, however, long and unwieldy and are made of fiberglass and last week at least one section split while pitching the tent. Fortunately the damage wasn't extensive enough to affect the overall tent structure. The plastic tent stakes started cracking and the cheesy hammer also broke but that's not a big deal.

LL Bean has exceptional customer service. I dropped by the Freeport store on my way home with a soaking wet tent and no receipt and was handed a gift card for todays purchase price plus Maine tax.

I almost bought the same tent again but I think I'm going to shop around first. Stronger aluminum poles would make it a great tent and a front door on the rain fly would help too.

Cheers,
Graham
