Looking to make a cover for my Indel 50L

Just got back from a trip using my fridge and have decided I need a cover for it. Looking around I have found that some other models might interchange with this but just want to make sure before buying one. Has anyone found a cover that fits the Indel-B? Otherwise I'll have a local upholsterer make me one, which brings up the question of what material (fabric) does one make it out of?

I bought one last summer that fits my Indel 50 reasonably well. Cost was about $50 but I don't remember the source, and that truck is about 100 miles away right now. I can check it when I get home and post here. It has velcro closures with some quilted insulation on the inside and a zippered storage pouch on the outside. Exterior fabric looks like some sort of Cordura knockoff, and interior is probably a foil Mylar. Not a perfect fit, but serviceable. It was designed for an Engel or some other unit (not ARB), but there was a thread on this forum that said it would work with the Indel.

I bought a truckfridge indel b and I purchased a cover for an Ironman 4x4 fridge from Metaltech4x4. Mine fit perfect. I think most of those brands are all the same just with different decals. Good luck.

Thanks, exactly the info I was looking for!

I took a break from packing & decided to complete my fridge cover project. It doesn't take long & could be made to fit probably any unit.

First I had made a cover using reflectix insulation, with cutouts for the vents. I'd been using that cover since last season & it works fine, but it looks like a big block of tinfoil...

I had some tan nylon/duck fabric by the yard allready around from another project. It's almost a perfect match to my coleman hot water on demand case.

I basically slit the reflectix cover down a side, then sprayed the outside with 3M "77" adhesive. Then stuck the nylon duck onto the reflectix.

Total cost-maybe $20. $10 for the fabric, and $10 for the adhesive. I allready had the insulation, so honestly forget what that cost.

I forgot to leave extra fabric tabs on one end, which I could have attached fabric stick Velcro onto. Looks like the straps I used will hold it in place nicely though.
