Louisiana Dual Sport Ride: Nov. 15-16

Image1-1.jpg

How about another round?

Weather should be nice and we should have some fall colors.
Bring your dual sport bike for a great two day ride through some great and diverse Louisiana terrain.
Only have a road bike? I'll hook you up with the routes, come enjoy some TWTex comradery.

Good ride, good times, good food.

Do you have a route planned out? I can't make it, but was down there last March and was really staring at some maps thinking how much fun it would be to have my dirt bike with. We were in the Atchafalaya Basin in Butte La Rose. It lookd like you could just about ride on Levees all the way to the coast from there.

Have fun!

A week out anyone from here going?

But I'll be riding 70 miles of single track near Moab next weekend and the following weekend (not the 8th-9th.)

The new Motor Vehicle Use Map for the area leaves off some prime long distance single track trails....so a group I belong to is doing a 'last rites' and riding a bunch of them before they close.

Looking forward to the rides, but not them closing down the trails just when I have learned them. :ar15:

Have a great ride - I'd be there if I was in your area.

PS: Putting on some fresh meats front and rear, getting my Edelbrock carb tuned a bit better, plus a new rear spring before the riding. (this is on my XR650R) I can't wait!
