Low Vacuum warning light

I thought I’d mention recovery time. With the new pump, the low pressure warning (Brake !) light turns off at the same time as the (ABS) light after a cold start without increasing the RPMs. If your vacuum pump takes longer, like mine did, your Vacuum pump needs to be replaced.

I thought mine should still be okay since it was only in there for less than three years (& <1000 hrs). This was not the case. The rebuilt Cardone pump seems to be working better than the other 100% new pump did... which just goes to show, that they can be bad right out of the box (or at least mediocre at best).
