LR Defender 110 Budget(ish) Expedition Build

Nice that you have someone to help you with the build remotely. She looks awesome. The interior will be important in terms of layout and organization. But be careful not to get too complicated as you want to be able to fix things easily and with readily available parts you can find on the road. What are you doing for sleeping arrangements? interior? RTT? Softside/hardtop? Pop-top?

Very envious of your trip and ambition.

Yes, we're very lucky to have Kimberley's brother to help out (especially on the mechanical bits which I currently know very little about). My thought have mostly been on the internals, which as you say will be very important in such a small space.

We are planning to sleep inside. We initially thought about RTT, but think that as we have space inside we should maximise on it (and save the large amount of money the RTT costs). Neither of us are particularly tall (I'm 5ft8) so I figure we should have enough room in there. Does anyone have experience in sleeping in the back of a 110?
