LR3 and led trailer lights

The teardrop I bought in the spring had led lights which pulsed when plugged into the truck. They worked fine for signal, brake and reverse. Seems it's a common issue. I sold the trailer but we are ordering a TC Teardrops unit. While on holidays, we hooked the TC off-road unit to the LR3 and the flashing was still there. I see a solution from Australia but it's designed for European trailer plugs. Anyone solved the issue in North America? If something can be built into the wiring harness as the trailer was being built, that would be awesome. Any advise is appreciated.

Yeah, even in my haulmark lowrider the lamps where I replaced with LED will blink although I can't remember if they continue blinking or just do it for a while and quit.

My box trailer has LED's. They pulse all the time while running, and until the truck "shuts down" when parked..

I've just lived with it. Supposedly you can install resistors to get the truck to recognize the trailer. 150 ohm has been talked about.

The issue is there is not enough resistance from the LED lights for the vehicle to recognize it's hooked up to a trailer. Most good trailer suppliers sell a resister that can be added to the circuit, once installed the vehicle senses the trailer and all is good.

Martyn, that's what I'm looking for. My understanding that if the LED's are pulsing, the LR3 doesn't know there is a trailer and doesn't adjust trans shift points, EAS, etc. If I can find the item I need, I can have TC Teardrops install it while building my trailer.
