LR3 seat dye/restoration using furniture clinic (before/after pics inside)

So I just bought a huge Mexican Pinata for a holiday party at work and it was raining when I put it in the back seat of my LR3. The streamers got a little wet and when I took it out I saw that it stained my seat red and green. my front seats are pretty haggard and I wanted to use this kit but is there anyway to get that off? Ive tried leather cleaner and a corse sponge it worked a little but you can still see it. If nothing else works I'll buy this kit.

I had a nasty stain in my second row seat and the Leatherique kit took it right out. Can't confirm what the stain was but it wouldn't come out any other way. I've also heard of wet sanding the top layer of the leather and then using Leatherique and buffing.

Leatherique also made my front seats look brand new and once cleaned, conditioned, and dried, I put the Melville & Moon seat covers over them for life.

You can get Leatherique on Amazon for a good price. Comes with the pristine clean and conditioner kit.

FYI, I kept the Leatherique on for almost 2 full days of sun before I buffed it. Apparently the longer it bakes in heat, the deeper it penetrates the leather.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Victory!
I used Chemical Guys leather cleaner. Are you saying just get the Leatherique leather cleaner? My plan was to do this and re-die my seats and get the M&M seat covers but I'm not ready to drop that kind of money yet. I was hoping to get rid of the green and red stains and then in a few months re-die and seat covers.

I do not remember the process, conditioner first or pristine clean first! I will look tomorrow when I get home and repost. Not sure what you climate is right now but if you can get the conditioner on and soaking in the hot sun or heater on it really opens up the pores in the leather after about two days. All of my wrinkles and seat creases came out and then I think it was the cleaner next and the seats came out almost brand new. Even the cracks in the armrest looked amazing compared to my dirty arm marks.....lol

Just saying it is well worth the try as I was impressed on the Leatherique product. I am sure once you condition and clean, you can scuff and re-dye that small area if needed with the Leatherique touch up dye kits.

I'm pretty sure leather cleaner is only used best on a conditioned seat with open pores. My seats looked like fluffy pillows after two days of baking in the sun with windows rolled up and the conditioner soaking. Stains and dirt came right out after a few scrubs and the leather tightened up again once cleaned.
