LR3 Suspension Fault

Noticed my LR3 had a gangster lean so while I was ordering a bunch of goodies, I opt’d to go with a IID BT model. When checking the calibration the right rear bag was at 161 while the left rear was at 212. I changed the right rear to 212 and when down the road about 2 minutes and had a complete suspension fault, loosing all air to the bags. I tried to reset everything, clearing a right rear hight sensor code and couldn’t get anything to work so I had to reset to my original settings. I am thinking there is a dead spot in the right rear switch or just plain faulty and needs replacement, the truck had new bags on it when I bought it so that particular dealer (none LR dealer and will remain nameless) might have come up with a way to trick @#$^ the system? But, that might be giving them more credit then where credit is due. Live values continue to show this bag lower then the rest and at times -##.

Does anyone know what the factory settings are in mm?

Why are you trying to change the height calibration manually? Is your truck not sitting level at the stock settings? You are supposed to base your re-calibration in the IID tool based on physical measurements from the center of the wheel to the top of the fender flare, not the values already stored. Your sensors will not have the same calibration values do to manufacturing differences on each corner of the LR3.

Yeah, the right rear bag is sitting lower then the left. When I set it at 212 with the left it was level.

when was this "gangster" lean present? after sitting over night?

my assumption would be that it sounds like you might have a leak in the system if you're not level. i'd do the basic tests first(fuse, battery, or leave the door cracked etc) and determine if its just settling over night before manually adjusting the calibration. its more common than not to have different height values from corner to corner, live values too.

Yup - as stated above you most likely induced a cross-axle error that dropped you on the bumpstops when you randomly started changing the settings.

It's a little frustrating doing the calibration the first time you do it, but you'll get the hang of it with some practice. Once you get it sorted you can store the calibrations and shouldn't need to change them again unless you change something in the suspension like a wheel height sensor.
