LR4 Cell Phone Mount?

Used the searc function and could not find anything... I put the bracket in my LR3 to mount my phone in front of the radio on the passenger side, but I haven't found anything similar for the LR4... How are people mounting their phones in these things? I was a nice looking solution...

Ram mounts is the way to go. Here is one in the defender. Sorry for the Instagram screen grab. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1451490023.729303.jpg

Another one I like is this one that clips onto the vent. It has drawbacks but it's small and not obnoxious. We use it in the 4Runner

Not in my Rovers, but in my service van (Nissan NV200) I needed a place to mount my phone and couldn't find a good off the rack mount. I tried a couple of vent mounts but they either broke during installation or just didn't fit at all. In the end I modified one of the broken vent mounts and stuck it directly to the hard plastic dash with some 3M VHB tape. Working fine so far after about 3 months.

Thanks for the replies, I'm thinking of installing it direct to the infotainment area, I already drilled into it to mount my 2m radio so I might as well keep going... I really like the ram mount!

I've got the proclip mount in my LR3 with a RAM Ball and RAM X-clip mounted on it - works great.

I use a Wilson cell booster/mount - mounted to the vent vanes on the right of the steering wheel. Really don't miss the air flow coming out of the vent.

I am a huge fan of Rokform cases, they offer two types of mounts for them, the magnetic mount is quite strong and dead simple, and the twist lock thing is bulletproof. I have both in different cars, and a twist lock on my mtn bike and my tripod

How do you like the booster? I have a Wilson amp installed in my rig and it's moderate to poor I'd say. Not $500 worth for sure. I also had an extreemly hard time getting enough seperation between the antennas; I've got the exterior antenna mounted as far aft as possible, actually on the top of the rear hatch, and the interior antenna is down by the passenger's knee. I still get a feedback loop about half the time. With the glass roof of the LR3 there's just no shielding between the.
