I so love this LR4, you have the perfect set up with that rig. The commercial version is ideal for offroad use, and turbo diesel! Can you post interior shots of this truck? Would love to see all the interior differences between the HSE passenger version, and your commercial rig. We can't get them here in the USA, so please show your stuff!

hi - thank you for your comments.

@nwoods: i add some pictures from the inside of the lr4. the littke display in the middle is just for audio and telephone. both work via blutooth.
the rest of the information you get from the dashboard.

This explains a lot. I owned a unique LR3, and my interior cargo area was different from everyone else's. Now I see that my LR3 had a commercial interior, with the netting on both sides. Did you install that barrier between passenger and cargo areas?

Here is what mine looked like:

hi,
the cars are converted here in austria - to save some tax the cargo room has to be at least 110cm then the tax office accept it as a commercial truck.
this stubid law makes it nearly impossible that somebody can sit on the rear seats.......

She's a beauty. I recognize the Llams switch on the LH of the steering column. I had to mount mine on the right side, same location (we have the electric steering wheel adjustment switch on the left here.) However, I did hide the red function button away, under the steering wheel on the rubber boot... Always worried I - or one of my hyperactive kids - will accidentally push it while driving if too exposed. :)

yep! i had the same thought -but after it was mounted. my oldest son is driving the lr4 sometimes and i was really a kind of nervous when the asked me what is this switch for.....

Brilliant.

That vehicle is possibly the nicest Disco4 I have ever seen. Purposeful and functional. Congratulations, a truly brilliant concept.

Nice setup! Looks friggin awesome! I know this is an older post but hopefully you are still an active member of this site. I want to set my rig up with 33" tires as well. Can you provide the details of your wheels and tires? What else did you need to install and modify to get the wheels and tires to work with your LR4? Johnson Rods? Other lift? Did you have to trim anything in the wheel wells? Fenders? I would be very grateful for this information as I just bought a 2013 LR4 that is completely stock and I need to beef it up do I can go on some excursions. Thanks and I'll say this again...great looking rig! -RT

hi again - and this time in the right thread.
i just finished my "personal project" lr4 discovery
the tires i use are cooper st maxx 275/70/18 which is slightly higher than 33" and about 10,5" wide - the wheels are from compomotive in england.
i was surprised when i drove the lr4 with this setup how quiet the new tires are.
i use the electronical llams to control the height. onroad i drive now 3 cm (1,2") higher the stock height.
the winch bumber is a d44 hidden mount from devon together with a warn 9.5 xp with wireless remote.
the roof rack is from land rover - i removed the railing.
the lights on the rack are from rigide - the make 13000 lumens which really turns night to day.
the discovery is comercial very without any extras except winter package.
i try to add som pics let's see if it works out.
greeting fom seefeld in tyrol

I also believe that the owner had sold this one a while back. I remember something to that affect in his youtube comments.
