LT230 Transfer Case Question

Has anybody seen an LT230 transfer case where forward is high range and back is low range? How could this be?

the Hi/Low range is on a separate gear. you have to move the shift fork to engage it.

Maybe they installed it inverted?

The arm on the lever shaft can be flipped to make it work backwards. Here are a couple of correct arrangments. It varies with the gearbox and in most cases, you can get it to work reversed.
