Luna Power Pack

Does anyone have one of these installed? Pro vs con about them or is there a better alternative for Flippac use. I plan to run a few lights, a fan and maybe a fridge.

They work great, very easy to install. I had mine in the back of my Tundra (secured it with tie downs) and ran my ARB fridge off of it as I liked this set up better than having my fridge in my Horizon.

If you are interested I have it for sale (as well as my '07 Horizon) as I purchased a used Sportsmobile.

I have one for my setup in my Jeep XJ...sorry to be perusing your guys' section here, but I've been starting to dream about Tacomas and then I saw the low profile pop ups you have here...how sweet! Go ANYWHERE...with all the goods!

I digress - the National Luna kit is awesome. I run my Engel fridge off of it with no fear of killing my starting battery. When I drive, I can hear the power pack switch moving to connect and disconnect depending on what my vehicle is doing. If the cooling fan in the engine comes on, the power pack turns off to leave more power in the vehicle. It'll reconnect itself automatically when it's done. Pretty nice!

PLUS - I like the portability. When I get a new truck, you bet it's being put in there...with minimal work!

I have a National Luna Power Pack from Adventure Trailers as well. They are extremely easy to install and use. Definitely saves time and keeps everything clean versus building a custom system. I run an Equipt National Luna 40L fridge and my entire camper power, including a power inverter, off the power pack. Love it! An update on the National Luna Power Pack. I've been doing some rewiring and other changes while my truck's motor is being rebuilt. Needless to say I wasn't paying attention and some my led lighting wires got crossed, which are powered from the NL pack. The wires lit up like a christmas tree and nearly caught the truck on fire. The fuse didn't pop unfortunately. The good news, the power pack beeped like crazy instantly. So in the event I didn't see anything, I would of heard the power pack going off. There's a bit more brains built into the unit, which is very nice.

Loving mine, kept the fridge going no problem and worked great jump-starting myself! Currently working on hiding a blue sea 12 circuit fuse box inside...

I love mine too and have to agree with the sentiments above. It's very easy to install. I was apprehensive about piecing together a system myself or getting all the wiring right for for a system with various parts. I'm sure it's simple to some but it was intimidating enough that in wold have had it installed professionally. The NL PPP was easy enough with literally two wires (red to red, black to black) that the additional cost for the PPP was a cheaper alternative versus the cost of professional installation.
