The fenders are stock M100 trailer fenders, with the CJ flares screwed onto the outer lip. The flares cover the 33's pretty well. I could probably use some mud flaps front and rear to keep the mess down; with the spring over, the fenders set high.

BTW, I picked up some CJ flares for mine. Haven't mounted them yet but they'll be perfect! Thanks for the idea. Luckily for me after eye-balling where I wanted to put my fenders and trimming about 6" off the front and back I thought I'd be cutting a few inches off either end of the flares too, but they are almost perfect without trimming at all. How's that for lucky?

Love the trailer, thanks for sharing.

How about those water jugs? Looks like they're "Rubbermaid?" Where might I find a couple of those?

Is it a pain to drop/lift spare tire? Do you have to crawl underneath trailer and man handle it or does it have gear box like on a pickup?

The water jugs are Rubbermaid brand 6 gallon jugs. Got them many moons ago somewhere in Vegas. Probably a Big 5 store or Walmart or similar. I know they were pretty cheap $ and have held up well. They have a flex pour spout in the cap. I have 4 of them total and have not ruined one yet, in at least 15 years light use. I have a 3 gallon similar version strapped into my trail rig. It lives there 24/7 days and has been there for 4 years straight. I change the water every month or two is all, and clean it with bleach once a year.
I don't know if it matters or not but I have always used a filter for the water that goes into these jugs. Usually a Britta filter or my sink water filter. That way if I want it for coffee water, it is as clean and pure as I am gonna get it.

Spare tire is on a Dodge Ram pickup winch mount. Hard to see in the pics, but the crank rod runs just under the right side tongue frame and almost all the way to the "V" in the tongue. The ratchet handle lives in the right tongue frame channel until it is needed. Just slip over the rod end, and ratchet the spare up/down. No need to even get under the trailer. $20 at the junkyard and a couple hours time. I used an older 16" Jeep rim with a 7.50 x 16 tire on it for the spare. About the same height as the 33's on the trailer, just narrower. The full width 33 will fit under the trailer but hangs really low to the ground, and lower than the axle does. I have always had on board air, and carry a good tire kit. Spare is unlikely to be used, but nice insurance.
