If you missed out on one of those group buys of M101 trailers -- here's your chance to get one. I bought this April 2007, hauled it over to a friend's house, and that's about all the "progress" I made. I picked up hubs (and bearings) to fit my Toyota PU wheels, and a pintle hitch.
The trailer is in good, solid condition, without any rust through; it'll make a great foundation for an expedition trailer. But there is rust, the springs definitely have the worst. The brake cables also look to be in rough shape. The tires hold air, but are dried out. There are 5 extra bolt holes in the forward part of the tub; there had been very cheesy mount for 2 propane tanks (hence, the HazMat placard holders). As part if Canada's "demil" they removed the taillight and connecting plug -- fortunately they didn't cut anything.
I have several pictures here: https://desertdouglas.smugmug.com/M101-Canadian-Trailer/
I hope someone will pick up this project. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
