I recently sold my first military trailer. It was a M416 in great condition that I had a hinges lid made for the RTT.
This setup was great for us, but it had some limitations. First of those limitations were it was only good for camping. There was little utility to be had out of the setup. The second issue was that there was no way to transport quad bikes or dirt bikes. So we sold our trailer and bought the new project.

The only thing that remains of the original trailer is the tub. The frame, axle, and rack are all fabricated. Admittedly it does have a fair bit of rust, but for our purposes for the trailer, I’m not too worried.
On the list of things that need attention are:
Properly lengthens axle. This is a shame because the axle is new, but the wheels both have 2 inch spacers to clear the fender wells. I’m NOT a fan of spacers so a new axle will need to be bought.
The white box needs some fiberglass repair.
Tie downs inside the tub need to be added for toys.
A max coupler will replace the standard ball receiver.
Once these have been addressed I’d like to add a folding table on the side with some sort of galley storage. A 270 awning will be added as well as our RTT.
You know how it goes, the list keeps getting longer, so follow along and see how the progress goes!
