Hello , just use 1.5 box -90 & 120 wall , I just added 3FT to mine using the same as the original build . My frame is about the same as what your disine is good and stiff they used the original bed
as the floor the way the bed is mounted to the frame it will flex more then enuff ...KELLY

Wow! That is way nicer than I'm wanting to do, but it is exactly what I needed!!

When you say 90 and 120 for the walls, do you mean 0.090" thickness for the vertical "studs" and 0.120" for the main outer cube? How far apart are your vertical tubes? Any diagonal reinforcements needed?

Lastly, how did you attach it to the bed? I have a few ideas, but real experience is always better!

Thanks for that shot of the framing. That is just awesome. Any more details or drawings of the build? And why the really long diagonal tubes? Are they just to support the cab overhang?

Looks like the sides were cut off the original bed. That's not a bad idea... I hadn't considered that one before.

I don't suppose you'd want to build another and send it my way? :)

Hello This motorhome had been kicking a round for sale for some time even hear on expo, I bought in July 2013 it was not my build but I got all the photos & paperwork on it . I have been doing a lot of up-dating & changes to it , like adding 3' to it ,the side skirts and some inside work . The one diagonal on side is for the cab over the others are for weld support & where removed ... If you use advanced search m35a3 custom camper I think you will pull up all the photos & spects on it ......Kelly
