M416 Build

I've been getting ideas from this site for a while now and I finally got started on my expedition trailer. Things have progressed fairly quickly because I had a good base. Frame, tub and fenders were all new. I had a custom axle made for the trailer and went with 15 inch rims wrapped in 32" BF Goodrich KO's. Now its time to get serious about my lid design, propane plumbing. FW tank and tent set up. It's been fun so far and there are a lot of great rigs on this site so thanks to all of those who forged ahead of me! Now for some pictures

Yep, I got tired of looking at m100. m416, and Bantam trailers that were so far gone and every one wanted 600-1500 dollars for pile of rust!

I think you went the right route.
I have been eyeing a Manley tub to mount on a M101A2 frame.
Looks great! Keep posting as you go.

Great job so far, exactly what I want. I am new here so forgive me if I am not following protocol. Can you buy just the frame and tub from Manley?

Got my lid all mocked up last week and should have it finished by Tuesday, I'm going to have an intergraded roof rack welded on top for future RTT. For now I will build a platform for one of my 2 man tents to go on top while camping. I need to finish my battery box and get my propane tanks mounted. Do you guys think 1 group 29 deep cycle will be enough to run LED lights for camp at night, pump and inverter for various electronics for a weekender. With my kids camping I don't see trips longer than 3-5 days for now. And what are your thoughts on how much water to bring in on trips for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8. I'm looking at somewhere between 15-20 gallon FW tank.

Lid is completed with roof rack and I got the gas springs and latches mounted. Also ordered my Tepui the other day so can't wait for it to get here. Taking my kids this weekend on our first camping trip with the trailer.

Yeah I thought I was going to hold off on the RTT but I figured hell I'm already knee deep in this build might as well push on. Here are a few after the install. I've since then painted the lid. I'll get some pics with it open.

My Tepui tent came in this afternoon. Hopefully I'll get it installed this evening with a little help from my brother. It's pouring rain here today so probably no outside shots.
