My vote is to paint the tub but leave the parts you show in the pickup alone. It will make for a cool look.

Galvanizing is great. I had my Bronco frame done when I did my frame off. However, you live in the NE, so its probably a good idea to top-coat it to get as much corrosion resistance as possible. Galv is not a panacea, but its a great start. IF you do top-coat, there are some things that need to be done to get proper adhesion. Just make sure you do some research. Good luck, the build looks awesome thus far.

Cheers!

Paint it. It won't stay shiney for long and once it's got a good film of oxidation built up it's a real PIA to prep and paint. Use a good epoxy primer and you'll be good to go. The surface will never be in a better state to paint than it is now so time is criticle.

Axle is set up with new parts and ultra corrosion resistant grade 8 hardware.

Frame is ready for axle installation.

Now just waiting on the proper inner oil seals to complete the hub installation.
