m416a2 hub conversion didn't work, need new axle -- please help

I saw a post a few weeks back where someone converted a m1102 8 lug hub to a 6 lug Toyota assembly with electric and parking brakes. It looked to be the same as my m416a2, but it wasn't. I'm pretty new at this and I'm kind of stuck right now. I think my easiest option is to just swap out the axle. I am completely comfortable doing the work -- I am NOT comfortable in ordering the right parts.

I've already spent money on parts that I should have don't more research before buying. But I want to still be able to use these parts, if possible. I have a 12" electric brake assembly and 12" drum.

My hub to hub measurement is 55 1/2"
My spring perch measurement is 43 1/4"

Southwest Wheels Trailerpart.com seems like a good place to buy an axle.

I need a axle and spindle that works with this drum and a hub face that works with the electric brake assembly. And I am not sure what happens with the shocks. Do I need to buy new ones and have brackets welded on? Wish there was a thread on here for dummies when it came to this. Thanks for helping.

That puts this at $170 plus $50 for shipping. But not positive it's what I need. 5,200 lb axle seems overboard for a trailer as light as this -- maybe 2,000 - 2,500 lbs fully loaded. But that seems like the spindle size I need to fix my mistake with the hubs and brakes I bought.

Confirmation would be great from anybody that knows more than I do. I measured 55.5" for the hub face to face and tentatively have 57" listed for the order.
I assume I should get new u-bolts? And the spring perches come welded on? And I still am not sure what happens with the shocks.

I've been doing more digging. It seems like I can get a 3,500 lb axle with 10" hubs and electric brakes for $320 with shipping. But it seems like I would lose both of the parking brakes, unless they offer a 10" parking brake assembly that I'm not seeing. Any thoughts? I might be able to at least partially return some of the stuff from my conversion-gone-wrong to recoup some costs.

I just got a 3500# axle with E/brakes from southwest for my M416, they said out of stock on parking & E/brake, but the price was right for mine $290 olus shipping. I did check dexter axle price with both brakes was $490. shipped to calif. I like your trailer.

When I modified my trailer the local store said one with a parking break was not available. Apparently that is not true. These are the part #'s I have in some old notes.

Left hand is K23-086-00
Right hand is K23-087-00
