Making the leap to an RTT.

I'm looking at the tepui autana 3 with the awning atop our trailer. How high must the bottom of the tent platform be in order to successfully attach and use the awning. My current plans are for a deck height of 5'6". Do I need to be higher than that? If so I'll have to rethink my design. Thanks for all replies.

When you say awning, are you talking about the annex? If so, height doesn't really matter. You can use it at any height. All that happens when it's lower is that the bottom may bunch up on the ground. It's still fully usable though.
