Mammoth??

Anybody heading to Mammoth for opening day this weekend?

I assume mtn biking.
I've made it up for ski season opening on halloween and the last day of the season on the 4th of july, but never made it up there to mountain bike.

Take some pics! I'd love to see that!!

Yep, Mtn Bike season is here!! I'll have pics, as well as video....

I was up there on Saturday. The Gondola to the top isn't open yet for biking...

$34 to ride the lower trails and be brought up to the lodge by bus.

Supposedly it will open up for the 4th of July weekend.

The mtn will be open to the top this weekend (kamikaze & upper off the top) and Velocity is open from mid station, so there's plenty to ride now! I'll get some pics from last weekend.....

So skid mark should be open too?

Skid Marks will probably be last to open......... Probably a few more weeks.

Going back to Mammoth this weekend, I'll give a report if I make it out alive...:costumed-smiley-007

I wound up going for the 4th, and was able to ride Skidmarks. The trail is officially closed..... there's a snow pack still blocking the trail that you can hike around. Other than that, the rest of the mtn is good, Bullitt is sweeeeeet right now. Have fun!!!
