Marv Spector of Specter Off-Road (SOR ) infamy was a dear friend before cancer took his life too early a few years ago. He loved his projects and always dove in with both feet. Through his many adventures he ended up with a 1980 G61 Patrol that he decided to take on as a project and restore. His widow Kay is now at a point where she is ready to sell the Patrol and she has asked me to assist. More details and pictures at the link below.

Wow. That's a rare one.

Marv was a great guy, always had fun talking with him. Way back when, many years ago I was at a shop close by that did LC imports, Marv spotted my ridgeback, went back to his place and got a SOR collapsible dog bowl for her. It still sits in my truck, and is now giving trail water out for my third ridgeback.
