Its actually more quiet with the maxtrax up there. I would get a humming noise prior, due to the air going in between the rack. I hear the wind coming off my side mirror or pillar than up top now.

Orange would be easier to spot at night when knee deep in muck. Especially when having to go back for them after getting back to safe ground.
