MBT trailer in CA.

Too bad, they butchered it. Would have made a nice original MBT for someone. Please folks, get an 416 to modify instead of these WWII trailers which are disappearing way too fast.

man, not even a tailgate...not sure if I really wanna spend the coin for somethign that really needs a lot more work.

Im the seller of it over on NAXJA.

I bought it last year from a old lady that was selling it because her husband passed, they bought it in 1964 and over the time they had it did all the butchering. It was much worse when got it, it had wooden stake sides and a huge tailgate.

It had some rust and mixed matched paint (I checked for any WWII markings before painting it) so i put some epoxy primer and black paint over it to make it look better.

I had plans to restore it and then make a lid for it with a tent, but after thinking about it i would much rather build one from scratch then modify this trailer even more.

I wish I were closer as I'd take a look and think about saving that trailer. Webdog, I have a 1945 MBT that I paid $300 for last year. It is far more complete and original but probably slightly worse as far as rust goes. Just mentioning this to help you decide if you're asking too much or not for it. I really can't tell without looking at it.
Advertise it on G503.com as they are a military vehicle oriented site.
Good luck with the sale.
