Mechanical Fan for 4.4 V8???

Does anyone know if there is a Mechanical Fan for 4.4 V8??? The Fan Clutch on my wife's 06 LR3 with 189k is going out and after replacing the AC compressor I am not really wanting to drop Big money on a new electric fan Clutch.
Benny says its hot with no AC....

I’d put a used one on it, had no idea they were $500 new. I may be incorrect but I believe they need to slip/stall at highway speeds for proper cooling, it’s not just about MPG and efficiency. Otherwise I’d just tack weld it.

The Mahle is 290 at Rock Auto.
Or go with an electric fan with a thermostatic switch.
I would stick with the factory electro-mechanical. They are rock solid, and do an amazing job of cooling.

4.4 is a pretty solid engine but like anything aluminum, cooling cooling cooling! One good over-temp and those heads are toast!

Plenty of great options out there that do not need to be factory part and just as reliable for a cheaper buy-in; I'd replace it ASAP if you are seeing signs of failure.

I think NAPA and Oreillys also rent the tools for dirt cheap to pull it and if not I'll send you mine as its a reallllllllyyyyyy easy job to swap the fan!

If you need a video let me know and I'll pull mine off for you and take a video as I just did my water pump again and I'm pretty quick.......lol
