Anyone in the Portland Oregon area looking for a very good rooftent? I have a well cared for medium sized AutoHome Columbus Variant that I would like to sell. It is about five or six years old, had a lot of use, well loved and is in excellent condition.
Maggiolinas get all the press, but I prefer the Columbus for the extra headroom, simplicity and weight savings. I'm 6'3 inches and it fits me well as long as you don't sleep on your back, your toes can touch the top. Really the only downside. Comes with the standard alloy ladder but I have an extra long one in storage if you have a big truck. It also has a fitted anti-condensation mat under the mattress, acts like a boxspring.
I'm on the coast, about an hour west of Portland. I'll be heading down to the Bay Area next week so I can drop it off along the way. Mike at AutoHome told me today that our new Columbus Carbon Fiber tent will be here for Christmas. Price? I'm thinking 2/3 of retail should be fair.
Send me a note if you are interested and want to know more. AutoHome has good information about it at www.AutoHomeUS.com or www.AutoHome.it
