Mercedes Diesel Engine on Ebay

This is the latest 2005+ Diesel V6 from Mercedes...I do not know what it would fit in..maybe a Wrangler. It does fit in the 2007-2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee....

Nice and hard...

Nice engine...beyond a doubt top notch German oil burner. Only problem is the electronics. Since this is a new, stand alone engine you would have to hunt down all the sensors and wiring. True to typical German engineering this is an extremely complex motor to wire if you wanted to retain an auto tranny and the original configuration.
Doable? Maybe. Expensive?? EXTREMELY!! But I'd love to see it hooked up to a good manual tranny/tcase and run in a jeep!
